Rediscover the Joy of General Practice

Ja, skottene har skapt en modell som kan være en liten del av løsningen – «Rediscover the Joy of General Practice» – en ordning der erfarne allmennleger engasjeres som avløsere og kvalitetsskapere på legekontor som strever med bemanningen.
På konferansen «Legetjenestene i kommunene – restaurering og nybygg» i november 2022, https://www.nsdm.no/old/konferanse/ fikk vi en kort presentasjon av denne modellen ved initiativtaker Charlie Siderfin. Mange konferansedeltakere ønsket å høre mer.
Kan dette være noe for oss i Norge?
Vi inviterer til frokostwebinar mandag 13.mars kl.0830-10 der tre av de sentrrale aktørene i Rediscover the Joy… vil fortelle mer detaljert om modellen. Det blir mulig å stille spørsmål i chatten.

Målet med webinaret er å etablere en arbeidsgruppe som kan jobbe med en norsk variant av modellen.

Rediscover the Joy of General Practice - A Collaborative Rural GP Recruitment Programme in Scotland.
What did we do? What did we learn? How could it be applied in Norway?
Innledere:
Charlie Siderfin has been a rural GP in the old Norwegian Earldom of Orkney for 22 years. He has developed a particular interest in creating sustainable systems to support the delivery of both high-quality care to rural populations and enhanced recruitment to the rural workforce. He is Clinical Lead to the Scottish Rural Medicine Collaborative.
Kirsty Brightwell is the Medical Director in NHS Shetland. She has been a remote and rural GP since 2007. She is collaborating locally and across the North of Scotland to support development of sustainable, excellent medical services and workforce.
Lorraine Hall is the longest serving HR Director in Scotland and the Lead for the North Region. She is the Lead Director for the GP Hub which employs and contracts GPs to work predominantly across the Highlands and Islands of Scotland.
